Core capabilities

Six capabilities: routes, privacy and multi-device

The six items below follow the order you actually use them: first whether the routes hold up at peak hours, then how accounts and privacy are handled, and finally devices, AI tools, streaming and refunds. Click any item on the left to swap the explanation on the right.

Route tiers that hold their speed at peak hours

Whether cross-border access stutters often has less to do with your local bandwidth than with congestion on the egress segment. VPNVan splits its routes into three tiers: IEPL dedicated, relay and direct. Latency-sensitive work such as live meetings and real-time collaboration goes over dedicated lines, everyday browsing and file transfers go over relays, and bulk downloads are spread across direct connections. During the 8–11 pm concurrency peak, the scheduler steers new connections toward whichever entry point currently has more headroom instead of pushing every request down the same tunnel. You do not have to judge which route to take: the client already groups them by use case.

Selection criteria

Why choose VPNVan

Services in this category look much the same on a feature list. What actually matters over the long run comes down to three things: whether the pricing structure is transparent, whether the path from payment to a working connection is short, and whether the rules are written down. All three below can be checked item by item.

Pricing and traffic structure are stated up front

Monthly plans come in three tiers: ¥9.9 for 60GB, ¥18 for 250GB and ¥28 for 500GB. Traffic resets every month on your activation date, and upgrading mid-cycle charges only the prorated difference for the remaining days, so unused traffic is not simply written off. Data packs are priced separately: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB and ¥658 for 3000GB, used until they run out and never expiring. For users whose usage swings a lot, a monthly plan plus a data pack works out cheaper than pushing to a higher tier, and the plans page has the full comparison table.

A short delivery path

Sign-up needs only a username and password, with no email verification step. Payment supports Alipay, WeChat and USDT. Once payment completes, the subscription URL is right there in the user panel, and clients for all five platforms download from the same place. There is no third-party redirect anywhere in the chain and no server details to type in by hand: import the subscription and connect.

Rules are stated up front

The refund window, device count, route-type labels and traffic reset rules are all written on the page rather than buried in a support conversation. The 7-day refund applies to the first payment, unlimited devices is stated in the plan description, and IEPL dedicated, relay and direct routes are labelled one by one in the client. Clear rules mean you know where the boundaries are before you start, instead of having to confirm them again and again.

Routes

Global routes and how to pick one

The table below picks a few commonly used routes out of the 240+, grouped by region and labelled with route type and streaming support. The full list lives on the servers page, and the groups inside the client are finer-grained than this table.

Pick by use case, not by country count

A longer route list looks better, but what decides the experience is how close a given route sits to the service you want to reach. For streaming, prefer a local route in the target region: Los Angeles or San Jose for US catalogues, Tokyo for Japan. For live meetings and remote desktop, prefer routes tagged IEPL dedicated, where round-trip latency is steadier and does not break up when the public internet jitters. For bulk downloads and system updates, direct routes cost less per gigabyte. Relay routes sit in between and suit everyday browsing and file sync.

If you are unsure, the client already groups routes by Streaming, AI Tools and Everyday browsing: pick a group by use case, then a region inside it, which is much faster than trying hundreds of routes one at a time. Switching routes inside a group does not require re-importing the subscription.

Route status

Latency and bandwidth vary by time of day; the figures below are a guide for choosing routes.

Client downloads and platform notes

Clients for all five platforms download from the user panel, and the subscription URL is obtained there too. After signing up and logging in, pick your platform and import the subscription to connect. Marketing pages do not host direct installer links or static subscription URLs.

Plans

Monthly plans and data packs

The three monthly tiers differ only in traffic; device count and route access are identical, with unlimited devices and all 240+ routes. Traffic resets every month on your activation date; if you run short mid-cycle, an upgrade charges the prorated difference for the remaining days instead of waiting for the next cycle.

Data packs (use them up, never expire)

If you only need extra traffic now and then, there is no need to move up a tier; adding a data pack works out cheaper. Data packs do not take part in the monthly reset, and whatever is left carries over to the next month.

FAQ

Five questions people ask most before ordering

Sign-up, device count, traffic resets, payment and refunds: these five cover most of the questions people have before ordering. More detail is organised by category in the help center.

Do I need an email to sign up?

No. A username and password are all it takes, and once you log in the subscription URL and clients are in the user panel. No step in the flow goes through email.

How many devices can one account use at the same time?

As many as you like. Mobile devices, tablets, laptops, desktops and routers can all be online at once, traffic is counted per account, and the user panel shows usage for each device.

When does traffic reset?

Monthly plan traffic resets every month on your activation date: sign up on the 8th and it resets on the 8th of each month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by remaining days. Data packs are not part of the reset; they are used until they run out and never expire.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay, WeChat and USDT. Once payment completes the subscription appears in the user panel immediately, with no manual review to wait for.

Can I get a refund if it is not right for me?

Yes, a 7-day refund with no reason needed. Submit the request in the user panel; refunds go back through the original payment channel, and how long it takes depends on that channel's processing speed.
